I looked it up and it seems FM fradio requencies in Japan were limited to 76-90Mhz, rather than 88-108 in most other countries. Seems the higher band was used in Japan for TV. The X-Type uses a positive switched signal unlike the S-Type and X350, i.e. the wire has to be pulled to +12v to activate the reverse camera.
