Nathannerds1. DS3 keeps going black screen when I open it. PC. Help. I know that it’s not a problem with graphics or storage or anything seeing as I’ve ran the game on my computer fairly well before. Although I was using shared content back then, and now I’m using a game I bought. It keeps going to 90% percent cpu the going to 0% and closing. I played a bit today and beat the first boss and some other things, but had a lot of issues with frame-rate drops. It would go from playable to unplayable quite frequently, and this was on Low settings and 800x600 resolution. Tried a few fixes suggested in the Dark Souls 3 PC megathread, but had no real luck with it. A video has surfaced online, showcasing Dark Souls 3 in 4K resolution with settings maxed out on an NVIDIA GTX980. The uploaded claims to be a journalist who has early access to the Souls game. Whenever you start a game, the computer needs the support of codecs or media players in order to launch the video associated with the game and get it streaming. If there is no media support, the video will not play and the game will get stuck on a black screen and stay there. Currently I have all 3 options off, but it still randomly switches enemies while moving around the one I have targeted or even rolling past. It causes my character to do 90 degree turns right when I try to roll and causes me to roll of cliffs or into a mass of enemies. make a profile for DS3 in Nvidia panel: change your Maximum Pre-Rendered Frame to 1 to get minimum Input Lag. and Disable AA in game its sh@t. thats the only things i can advice to you.
